Understanding that the three constant driving forces in construction are quality, timeliness, and budgeting, Evans & Associates Architecture has developed professional working relationships with qualified contractors in an effort to form design-build teams. The design-build approach brings the design and construction team together from inception of the project. This process allows the architect and contractor to work together in determining the best possible construction type, method, and schedule. This process establishes a maximum guaranteed price at a much earlier date than traditional design-bid-build.
PROGRAMMING
As designing is considered "problem solving", programming is considered "problem seeking". In seeking to define the design problem, five basic steps are taken: 1) Goals of the project are established, 2) Related facts are collected and analyzed, 3) Concepts are uncovered and tested, 4) Specific needs are determined, and 5) The problem is revealed.
INTERIOR DESIGN/
SPACE PLANNING
From cabinetry, lighting, and color selections to floor layouts, ceiling systems, and extensive hypothetical walk-thru's, proper interior design and space planning will empirically contribute to the aesthetics and functionality of a building space. Corporate offices, religious facilities, eating establishments, and resorts are a few of the types of construction which require extensive interior design and space planning.
CONSULTING
Consulting is performed on a number of different levels within the time frame of a project's development. From real estate purchases to project cost analysis, Evans & Associates Architecture is experienced in assisting clients in making well informed decisions to produce better and more functional results.
3-D MODELING
Well produced three-dimensional models can shine a new light on a project. Evans & Associates Architecture utilizes the latest hardware and software in generating 3-D models, renderings, and animations. With the help of these tools and our expertise, clients are able to better understand how the project will relate to outside context. Visible depth, visible width, exterior context, relative sizes, and lighting will all provide better insight and confidence as to where the project is going and what we will achieve.
